Enya Double-Take (SOLD)
Enya
Double-Take is a very quiet even tempered 15.2hh 5 year old registered Irish Sport Horse mare by Donegal
Double-Take and out of Serene Elegance. She is a talented young horse with loads
of potential and would suit any discipline.
She is currently competing preliminary
/ novice level dressage with scores up to 72%. She has
established basic laterals, lengthened trot, has 3 solid correct paces, balanced
transitions and is consolidated with her training. She is easy to handle both on
and off the ground and is very easy to train. She is jumping 70cm and is a quiet
easy horse to jump. Very honest over fences and plenty of scope. She is good to
catch, float, worm, shoe, rug etc. There is potential for her to excel in any
discipline.
Enya has been
campaigned all year including attending the Brookfield show where she placed in
every event against a huge field of horses.
She also competed at the RDA dressage day with the following results:
McIntyre Preliminary 2 Place: 2nd
72.17%
McIntyre Preliminary 1 Place: 2nd
59.17%
McIntyre Novice 1
Place: 6th 59.6%
At
the end of July 08 she competed at the Laidley Hack and Dressage Day and won the
Preliminary 1.2 dressage test with a score of 67.2%. She also placed in all her
hack events that she entered and even won the maiden hack and placed in her
other
classes.
Brookfield Associate dressage on 17th August Enya won
the Novice 2.2 test which was a huge accomplishment as it was her 2nd ever
novice dressage test. She also managed to come 5th in the Prelim 1.2 & 6th
in the prelim 1.4.
Maimon (SOLD)
Maimon (Mannie)
is a 4 year old unraced thoroughbred gelding. He
is 15.3 hands high and still growing. Should mature to around 16 – 16.1 hh. He
has a kind, sweet temperament and has excellent manners both on the ground and
under saddle. He is well behaved to feed, rug, float, worm, have
his feet trimmed & tack up.
He has started his
dressage education and has 3 correct flowing paces and is quite well balanced.
He is in front of the leg in all transitions & consistently on the bit. He has established basic lateral movements
and moves off pressure when asked. He has started jumping & showing plenty of
potential. Nice big jump and very honest over fences.
He has been lightly competed and is
quiet and safe at competitions. First dressage comp. he got 4th in the Prep 3
with a respectable 55%.
Just Ralph
Just Ralph is a
10 year old thoroughbred gelding and he currently has 14 dressage points from
limited outings and is currently graded preliminary. He is comfortably competing
Novice level and training elementary dressage, and finds jumping a relaxing
past-time. Ralph is slowly learning that life is only
as difficult as you make it & is becoming more trusting and happier as the years
pass by and he learns that not everything is going to “get him”. (when Ralph is
in true form he will shy at different coloured patches of grass).
Mr Tic Toc
Mr Tic Toc is a happy laid back 9 year old thoroughbred gelding out of
Targato and by Hula Chief. He has 61 Dressage Points and is graded elementary &
training medium. He is just over 17 hands so rather a large
creature but still manages to behave like a giant dog if the opportunity arises.
He is easy to ride and train and a pleasure to own.

Trojan
Warrior is warmblood colt out of Serene Elegance & by Northern Classic.
He is now 19 months old & growing rapidly. (more current pictures to follow
shortly)

Surprise
Serene Elegance
is a 12 year old thoroughbred brood mare approximately 16 hands high.
Ellie had a successful race career until she was 5 when she retired &
took on a new role as brood mare. Ellie is a very quiet mare with a
lovely sweet temperament. She is easy to handle and a pleasure to have around.
Elegant Surprise is an Irish
Sport Horse Filly and was born on 4th December 2007 - a little earlier than
expected.

Evening
Flame and Jenny had a successful competitive career spanning over 7 years before
being sold to a riding school as a schoolmaster in 2002.
